NEW Low-Cure, Phthalate-Free Inks

International Coatings™ introduced its new line of low-cure, phthalate-free inks at FESPA. UltraMix® 7900 was developed in response to growing customer demand for an ink that is more eco-friendly yet offers enhanced performance and the ability to be printed on a wider range of substrates.
The MHM company used our 7900 UltraMix® Low Cure inks at FESPA for printing samples on their machines.  Curing at 275º F (135º C), this product can save you up to 20% on energy bills!
Part of our UltraMix® Color System line, the 7900 Low Cure inks can be mixed and blended to simulate Pantone® colors.  The 7900 color primaries are formulated to achieve higher opacity of mixed colors.

New Cotton White – Economical Solution

International Coatings™ has over 20 “Whites” available to meet various needs and applications.  Our newest product, the 7038 Cotton White, was developed to provide a cost-effective option for printing on 100% cotton fabrics without skimping on quality or performance.  The new Cotton White has a very creamy viscosity and resists ghosting and fabric discolorations.

Optilux – Brightest Reflective Ink

At FESPA, International Coatings™ together with Viz Reflectives unveiled its new incredibly reflective Optilux™ ink and transfer systems for the textile and garment industries.  Both the ink and the transfer products contain innovative microscopic glass beads that reflect light similar to a mirror, thus making Optilux™ the brightest reflective products in the market.
The retro-reflectivity of the product is best displayed when a garment printed with Optilux™ 505 ink or decorated with the transfer system is exposed to a focused beam of light, such as that from a flashlight or an automobile headlight.  The glass beads then reflect or return light back to the light source.
At FESPA, printing guru Charlie Taublieb printed his artwork using our Optilux™ reflective ink mixed with our 156 Shimmer effect ink for sparkling results.  The image below shows the Optilux mix directly printed onto the garment. See the difference in brightness – right side of the image - when light strikes it.
